An outstanding result has been achieved by St Stephen’s Hospital in their recent accreditation survey – 25 Excellent Achievements and high praise from the surveyors who said it was "an exceptional hospital with exceptional staff."
The surveyors also congratulated St Stephen’s on the outstanding culture that demonstrates "commitment, dedication and harmony in the workplace.’ "This sort of result is no accident and every one of our members of staff played a part in achieving this exceptional rating and feedback. To produce a working environment that demonstrates and promotes continual quality improvement involves everyone that works within the organisation," Leanne Tones, General Manager, St Stephen’s Hospital Maryborough/Hervey Bay said. "This result places St Stephen’s in the top one per cent of hospitals (private and public) in Australia. Now the challenge is to continually strive to improve our quality and safety outcomes to maintain and even improve standards," she said. "Congratulations to the devoted and hardworking staff and management at St Stephen’s, the results are well deserved and a major achievement," Anne Cross, UnitingCare CEO said. "This result builds on St Andrew’s exceptional result earlier in the year where they achieved 25 Excellent Achievements and one Outstanding Achievement. These two sets of results put both hospitals in the top one per cent in the country," she said. |
